Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe
Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe (JTCE) is a European project that brings forth new artistic visions within contemporary circus.
JTCE aims at recognizing promising and artistically interesting new production ideas of young circus artists and supports them by providing financial support, rehearsal spaces, residencies, master classes. JTCE also creates valuable networks between the chosen young artists and European organisations and professionals. The mission of JTCE is to accompany young artistic teams within contemporary circus with advise on production and public promotion management and on administration and development.
The initiative has five components:
Phase 1: Call for projects
Phase 2: Selection based on application form
Phase 3: Further selection based on viewing and meeting with selection committee
Phase 4: Support / assistance
Phase 5: Public presentations
Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe is a French non-profit association created in 2007 and based in Paris. JTCE has six co-organisers, so called ‘poles’ (French Pole, English Pole, Centre Pole, Northern Pole, Southern Pole and Eastern Pole). In addition, a mass of other structures of production and diffusion contribute to the objectives and support artistic teams during and after the operation.
The Nordic network NNCN forms the Northern pole of JTCE. Thus the co-organisers of the Northern pole are Copenhagen International Theatre (Denmark), Circo – Centre for New Circus (Finland), Subtopia (Sweden) and The Circus Village/Cirkus Xanti (Norway).

This project has been funded with support from the European Commission.
