Mille Lundt: Somewhere/Nowhere (DK)

Somewhere/Nowhere, a physical solo, is a bid for a contemporary circus performance. A collaboration between creator/performer
Mille Lundt, director Cille Lansade, composer Johan Segerberg and scenographer Sissel Romme.

The performance is about a young woman living in a studio flat in a city. This young woman loses her appetite for life, and struggles in her own fight to regain her normal life. Memories from her childhood comes to her in flashes as sunbeams in a usual cloudy spot. The performance merges theatre, dance, object manipulation, circus techniques and is meant for a young audience. The basis for the performance is the loneliness and twosomeness, reality/ the unreal and the human being’s craving for the unknown. The performance will be created out from the method devising. The physical language will be researched in the scenography, where the mimimalistic and the more extreme circus techniques will be brought so close to the human being itself as possible.

Somewhere/Nowhere will be premiered in 2010.
Somewhere/Nowhere is supported by The Danish art council, Juggling the arts, Danish artist union. Residencies at Espace Catastrophe in Bruxelles and via. Juggling the arts at Subtopia/Cirkus cirkor in Stockholm.
