Juggling the Arts 3 – 2011
Artistic laboratory 2011 at The Circus Village, Oslo
The third Juggling the Arts in August 2011 was a wider exploration on contemporary arts. What is contemporary art? How do different contemporary artists work and think about their work? The lab concentrated on artistic processes in general, both in circus and in different contemporary art forms, and the participants were able to draw inspiration and knowledge from that into their own work.
The artists participated in a five-day artistic laboratory lead by international mentors at The Circus Village in Oslo, Norway.
Participants were:
Matleena Laine (FI)
Olli Vuorinen (FI)
Frida Odden Brinkmann (NO)
Eos Karlsson (SE)
Timotie Girardon (SE)
Mentors were:
Rudi Skotheim Jensen (main mentor - NO)
Jean-Michel Guy (FR)
Kitt Johnson (DK)
Jeanne Mordoj (FR)
Cecilie Lindeman Steen (NO)
