The fourth edition of Subcase took place 16-17 February 2012. Subcase is an opportunity to present full-length shows and work-in-progress. Short acts and numbers are not presented in this context. Only companies from the Nordic countries are participating.

Subcase 2012 hosted more than 120 bookers from 14 countries.

Seminar:
The showcase had an early start with a seminar 15 February about the artistic expressions and aesthetic trends in European and Nordic contemporary circus, about how an international circus festival works with audience development and about what is technically specific when presenting circus. More than 50 Nordic programmers and circus professionals participated.
